Standing behind a successful moving business is a crew of movers. Let us tell you a little bit about our incredible, hardworking movers.

How we select movers

Our criteria for hiring movers is very strict. A new candidate needs to be punctual, reliable, and a team-player in addition to being able to lift up to 100 lbs. Most of the movers are referred by our local community or through word of mouth they hear that we are an honest company that treats employees with respect. Our movers all pass a criminal background check so you can feel secure about our movers entering your house. We are proud of our incredible crew.

Movers

Our team leaders (foremen) are required to speak fluent English. While some of our movers are not native English speakers, most of them are highly educated and speak other languages. Many of them are originally from different countries, but now our movers reside locally in Bellevue, Seattle, Kirkland, Federal Way, Redmond, Kent and Issaquah. Most of them start their careers in moving because this is an in-demand job that allows them to be hired immediately. Sometimes we hear feedback that the language barrier may be an issue in communication during the moving process. We ask for your patience and understanding with our movers in case of language barriers. You can always talk to the team leaders or call our office to avoid miscommunication.

Movers during the moving process

We appreciate the hard work of our movers because they are the foundation of our business. By treating them with honor and respect, they work harder and are ready to go above and beyond to make customers happy. Movers are human beings and not robots. We feel bad when we hear that our customers sometimes do not understand the physical demands of moving. Putting  pressure on them can cause mistakes or other issues. Movers want and expect to get tips at the end of a successful, and they are aware of the clear connection between their performance and customers’ satisfaction.

How to resolve issues during the move

Moving can be complicated from the moment it is booked till the end of the move. We highly recommend contacting the office if there are no acceptable solutions offered by the moving crew. Whether it’s about extra heavy items or additional hours of work, we believe there is a solution to every problem, and our management is ready to help resolve any issue.

How you can help us to improve our service

Upon completion of work, we ask you to provide feedback on our movers’ performance. Every comment is taken seriously and forwarded to the management. We are constantly learning how to improve our business and practices. If you have any questions or ideas for improvement of our service, please contact us via email info@twomenandamovingvan.com or call 253-215-1850. We appreciate customers’ time and are ready to invite you for a Starbucks coffee by sending a gift card.

Are you a new customer? We look forward to meeting and working with you again in the future. Feel free to submit your inquiry on our website or call the office. We offer promotional discounts on particular days. Check them out by calling: 253-215-1850.
